How the check works
We find you on Google Maps
Your listing tells us your trade, your city, your reviews and your website. No forms about your business.
We ask AI what your customers ask
"Best [your trade] in [your city]", asked live on ChatGPT, Google and Perplexity. We record who got named and which pages each one read.
You see the gap and the fix
Who got named instead, how you compare, what it's worth, and what to fix first.
What we keep finding
Reviews don't rescue you. In October 2026 we asked ChatGPT for the best roofer in Austin. It named four companies. A roofer with 1,095 five-star Google reviews, more than three of the four it named, wasn't one of them.
AI repeats the lists it reads. ChatGPT's answer came almost word for word from a few "best roofers in Austin" pages. Get onto those pages and you're in the pool AI picks from.
Directories win. Yelp, Angi, BBB and local "best of" sites are built for machines to read. Most service-business websites are not.
It moves. These answers get re-decided constantly. A business that gets named this month can vanish next month because someone else published something better.
Questions
- Is this really free?
- Yes. No card and no call required. The on-screen result is free, and the full report with your fix list is free for an email address. We run these because a real check starts a better conversation than a sales pitch, and because some owners who see their result want help fixing it.
- How long does it take?
- About a minute. We ask ChatGPT, Google and Perplexity live, the same way your customer would, then read the pages they cited.
- Do I need a website?
- No. We start from your Google Maps listing. If you have a website we check it too; if you don't, that's one of the things the report will tell you to fix.
- What does it actually check?
- Whether each AI tool names you for "best [your trade] in [your city]", who it names instead (with their Google review counts next to yours), which "best of" pages it read and whether you're on them, your Google profile next to theirs, your website basics, and a dollar estimate with every assumption shown.
- How accurate is the dollar number?
- It's an estimate, shown as a range, and every input is on the page: monthly searches for your trade in your city, the share of searchers who now get an AI answer, how many of them call a named business, a close rate and your typical job. Change the job value to your own number and it recalculates.
- What if my result is bad?
- Most are, at first. AI tools don't recommend the best business, they recommend the one they can read about on the pages they trust. That's fixable, and the report tells you what to fix first whether or not you ever hire us. If you'd rather have it done, our Local AI Search plan is $297 a month, no setup fee, month-to-month.
- Who's behind this?
- SuperDupr builds AI systems for service businesses: voice agents, lead follow-up, scheduling, back-office automation, and local AI search. This check is the first thing we look at when a business isn't getting recommended.
