How much does GoHighLevel cost? The short answer

As of October 13, 2026, GoHighLevel (HighLevel) has three plans: Agency Starter at $97 a month with 3 sub-accounts, Agency Unlimited at $297 with unlimited sub-accounts, and Pro at $497, which adds SaaS mode for reselling it as your own software. Paying yearly is $970, $2,970 or $4,970, two months free. Every plan includes unlimited contacts and unlimited users. What the plan card does not include is usage: phone calls, texts, emails and most AI run through a prepaid wallet, and the AI Employee add-on is billed per sub-account. For one local business, a realistic all-in number is about $200 to $250 a month before phone and text charges.

GoHighLevel plans side by side

PlanMonthlyYearlySub-accountsUsage rebilling
Agency Starter$97$9703No
Agency Unlimited$297$2,970UnlimitedPhone and email, no markup
Pro (SaaS mode)$497$4,970Unlimited, created automaticallyPhone, email and AI, with markup

A sub-account is one business's workspace: its contacts, calendars, pipelines and automations. That single number is the whole difference between Starter and Unlimited, so the plan question is really "how many businesses will live in this account?" One owner running one company fits Starter. An agency with a fourth client pays $297.

What the plan price leaves out

HighLevel says it plainly on its pricing page: usage-based charges apply. The agency keeps a wallet funded by its card on file, and each metered service draws it down. These are the meters, from HighLevel's own pricing guides:

  • Email: $0.675 per 1,000 emails sent, on every plan. Email validation is $2.50 per 1,000 addresses checked.
  • Premium workflow steps: $0.01 per execution. Standard triggers and actions are free; the premium ones are not. Workflow Pro replaces the per-execution charge with a bundle: $10 a month for 10,000 executions, $25 for 30,000, $50 for 65,000, per sub-account. It does not cover ChatGPT or Workflow AI steps, which stay pay-as-you-go.
  • Phone and text: numbers, calls, SMS and MMS through HighLevel's phone system, billed by usage. SMS is charged per segment, so a long text costs more than a short one.
  • AI Employee: without a plan, AI is billed at token cost. AI Employee Growth is $50 a month per sub-account with 1,000 Conversation AI responses and 100 Voice AI minutes. AI Employee Unlimited is $97 a month per sub-account with unlimited Conversation AI and Voice AI, subject to fair use.
  • Voice AI on pay-per-use: a $0.045 per minute voice engine charge plus the text-to-speech provider, for example $0.015 a minute with OpenAI TTS, plus model tokens. HighLevel's own example puts a 10-minute call at $0.60 before tokens and phone charges.

The line most owners miss: phone system charges still apply to calls even when Voice AI is covered by AI Employee Unlimited. "Unlimited" covers the AI, not the phone line underneath it.

The add-ons, priced

Add-onPrice
AI Employee Growth$50/month per sub-account
AI Employee Unlimited$97/month per sub-account
SEO (powered by Search Atlas)$79/month per sub-account
Branded client portal app$49/month per sub-account
Online listings management$30/month per sub-account
Premium prospecting tool$29/month per sub-account
WhatsApp integration$10/month per sub-account
Dedicated email IP$59/month per IP
HIPAA compliance$297/month
White label mobile app$497/month
Premium support$500/month
WordPress hostingfrom $10/month per site

Note which ones say "per sub-account." An agency that turns on AI Employee Unlimited for ten clients is paying $970 a month for that line alone, on top of the plan.

A worked example: one local service business

A home services company with one location runs everything in one sub-account. It wants the AI to answer calls and texts, sends about 20,000 marketing and reminder emails a month, and uses enough premium workflow steps to need Workflow Pro's first tier.

LineMonthly
Agency Starter$97.00
AI Employee Unlimited (1 sub-account)$97.00
Workflow Pro, 10,000 executions$10.00
20,000 emails at $0.675 per 1,000$13.50
Total before phone and text usage$217.50

That is about $2,610 a year, or about $2,416 if Starter is paid yearly at $970. Calls and texts come on top and scale with volume. Our arithmetic on HighLevel's published rates; your volumes will differ, so plug in your own.

The same math for an agency with ten clients: Agency Unlimited at $297 plus AI Employee Unlimited on every client at $970 is $1,267 a month before usage. Unlimited lets the agency rebill phone and email to clients at cost; rebilling AI Employee usage takes the $497 Pro plan.

Is GoHighLevel worth it for a single business?

It can be. HighLevel's pitch is replacing a stack: CRM, funnel builder, email marketing, scheduling, texting and review requests in one login. If you pay for four of those separately today, $97 to $217 a month is often cheaper. Two caveats. It is built for agencies, so a single business gets a lot of menus it will never use and a setup that rewards someone who knows the platform. And the bill moves with usage, so a busy month of calls and texts costs more than a quiet one. If what you mainly need is a CRM, compare it with the focused tools in our HubSpot vs Pipedrive vs Zoho CRM breakdown first.

Who can set up GoHighLevel, or build the automation around it?

Plenty of freelancers and agencies set up HighLevel accounts; HighLevel runs a certification program for them. SuperDupr does not resell HighLevel. We build the AI and automation work that sits around a CRM, whichever one you use: an AI voice agent or receptionist at $5,000 to $10,000, AI lead follow-up at $8,000 to $15,000, or a connected AI workflow automation at $10,000 to $25,000. Most builds go live in 2 to 4 weeks, ongoing hosting and support runs $200 to $2,000 a month, and the business owns what we build. That is usually the better route when the job is too specific for a platform's built-in AI, or when per-sub-account AI fees across many locations add up past a one-time build. For how those prices compare across the market, see AI automation pricing, and for the per-task math on a general automation tool, how much Zapier costs.

How to keep a GoHighLevel bill small

  1. Start on Starter. Three sub-accounts is plenty for one business. Move up when a fourth business needs its own workspace, not before.
  2. Pay yearly once you know you are staying. $970 instead of $1,164 on Starter.
  3. Pick the AI plan by volume. If the AI answers fewer than 100 voice minutes and 1,000 messages a month, Growth at $50 covers it; Unlimited at $97 is for busier lines.
  4. Watch premium workflow steps. At $0.01 each they are invisible until a workflow fires thousands of times. Workflow Pro is cheaper past about 1,000 executions a month.
  5. Keep texts short. SMS bills per segment.
  6. Validate before big email sends, but only the lists that need it: validation costs nearly four times as much per 1,000 as sending.
