monday.com Pricing in 2026: Plans, Per-Seat Math, and the 250-Action Limit That Stops Automations
As of October 10, 2026, monday.com work management costs $9 per seat a month on Basic, $12 on Standard and $19 on Pro, billed annually, with a 3-seat minimum and a custom Enterprise price. For automation, Standard includes 250 automation actions and 250 integration actions a month while Pro includes 25,000 of each, so a 10-person team handling 400 requests a month runs out of Standard by about day 9.
How much does monday.com cost? The short answer
As of October 10, 2026, monday.com's work management plans cost $9 per seat a month on Basic, $12 on Standard and $19 on Pro, billed annually, with a custom Enterprise price and a Free plan for up to 2 seats. Paid plans start at 3 seats. The number that matters for automation is not the seat price: Standard includes 250 automation actions and 250 integration actions a month, Pro includes 25,000 of each, and Basic lists none.
Every price and limit on this page was read from monday.com's own pricing page on October 10, 2026. monday shows the yearly price by default and says yearly billing saves 18%; its FAQ adds that the monthly plan is not discounted. Where we make an assumption about how monday counts usage, we say so.
monday.com work management plans, side by side
| Plan | Per seat, billed annually | Automation actions | Integration actions | API calls | Workflows | AI credits (10-seat view) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0, up to 2 seats | None listed | None listed | None listed | None listed | None |
| Basic | $9 | None listed | None listed | None listed | None listed | 1,000 a month |
| Standard | $12 | 250 a month | 250 a month | 1,000 a day | 3 | 2,000 a month |
| Pro | $19 | 25,000 a month | 25,000 a month | 10,000 a day | 20 | 3,000 a month |
| Enterprise | Custom | Up to 250,000 combined a month | 25,000 a day | 250 | Custom | |
Free covers up to 3 boards and 3 docs. Basic adds unlimited items (rows) and unlimited free read-only viewers. Standard adds the automations and integrations above, timeline, Gantt and calendar views, and guest access. Pro adds private boards, time tracking and advanced columns. monday's FAQ says plans start from 3 users and that teams above 40 users can request a quote.
AI credits are now inside the seat price
monday has folded AI into every paid plan as a monthly credit allowance. On the 10-seat view, the page itemizes it: Standard is $12 x 10 seats = $120, plus 2,000 credits valued at $20, minus a matching $20 "special monthly discount", for a total of $120. Basic and Pro work the same way with 1,000 and 3,000 credits. So today the credits cost nothing extra, but monday is showing you a $10-per-1,000-credit value, and the page says you can buy more when you need them.
monday's FAQ puts a typical 3-person team at about 800 to 1,200 credits a month, and says 1,000 credits covers roughly 50 resume screenings, 5 hours of meeting summaries, or hundreds of automated workflow updates. Credits power the AI agents, the Sidekick assistant, the meeting notetaker (Standard and up), AI columns (Standard and up) and the AI workflow builder (Pro and up).
Where monday.com automations stop on each plan
monday meters automation three ways, and a build usually hits one of them long before the seat count matters:
- Automation actions. Board rules such as "when status changes, assign the owner" or "when a date arrives, notify the client manager". Standard has 250 a month for the whole account, Pro 25,000.
- Integration actions. Anything that reaches another app through monday's built-in integrations, such as posting to Slack, sending through Gmail or Outlook, or creating a record in a CRM. A separate 250 a month on Standard and 25,000 on Pro.
- API calls per day. The route for outside software: a website form handler, an AI agent, a custom app or an automation platform reading and updating boards. Standard allows 1,000 a day, Pro 10,000 and Enterprise 25,000. monday's pricing card says you can buy more as needed.
Basic is the trap for growing teams: it looks like the cheap paid plan, but its card lists no automations, no integrations and no API allowance. If you plan to automate anything, the real starting price is Standard.
A worked example: 400 service requests a month on Standard vs Pro
monday's page lists allowances, not workloads, so here is one. A 10-person home services company runs intake on a monday board. About 400 requests a month come in through a web form. Each request gets two board automations (assign a coordinator by service type, set a follow-up reminder) and two integration actions (post the job to a Slack channel, email the customer a confirmation through Gmail). We count one action per automation or integration run; check the usage screen in your own account, because monday's pricing page does not spell out the counting rule.
| What the team uses | Standard, 10 seats | Pro, 10 seats |
|---|---|---|
| Price billed annually | $120 a month ($1,440 a year) | $190 a month ($2,280 a year) |
| Automation actions (400 x 2 = 800 a month) | 250 allowed, gone by about day 9 | 25,000 allowed, 3.2% used |
| Integration actions (400 x 2 = 800 a month) | 250 allowed, gone by about day 9 | 25,000 allowed, 3.2% used |
| An AI intake agent checking the board once a minute (1,440 calls a day) | 1,000 allowed, over by 44% | 10,000 allowed, 14.4% used |
| Same agent checking every 2 minutes (720 calls a day) | Fits, with 280 calls left for everything else | Fits easily |
The finding most monday price lists miss: Standard's automation allowance covers about 125 requests a month at this rate, so the team runs out in the second week and spends the rest of the month doing the work by hand. The $70 a month between Standard and Pro on 10 seats ($840 a year) is not paying for features; it is paying for a 100x larger automation allowance. If your board fires fewer than about 250 actions a month and nothing outside monday polls it, Standard is the right plan. If either number is close, budget Pro from the start.
monday CRM has its own price list
monday sells its CRM as a separate product with higher seat prices and a bigger yearly discount (33%). Prices below are per seat a month from the same page, read October 10, 2026.
| monday CRM plan | Billed annually | Billed monthly | Contacts and deals | Custom automations |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $12 | $18 | 1,000 | None listed |
| Standard | $17 | $25 | 10,000 | 250 a month |
| Pro | $28 | $41 | 100,000 | 25,000 a month |
| Ultimate | Custom | Custom | Unlimited | Enterprise-scale, 25,000 API calls a day |
The same pattern holds: the plan that looks right for a small sales team (Standard) has the same 250-a-month automation ceiling. For how monday's AI features compare with Asana's and ClickUp's, see our Asana AI vs Monday AI vs ClickUp AI comparison.
How monday.com connects to AI and workflow automations
Inside monday, the AI agents, AI columns and Pro's AI workflow builder run on the credit allowance. Outside monday, everything goes through integration actions or the API: web forms, phone and intake systems, accounting tools, automation platforms and custom AI agents. Most real builds use both, which is why the daily API allowance and the monthly integration allowance should be planned together. A board that sits in the middle of several tools is one piece of a larger business process automation software stack, and the cheapest plan is the one whose meters fit the whole stack, not just the board.
Who can build monday.com automations for my business?
monday's own automation recipes are built for the people who use the board, and you should start there. Bring in a builder when the work crosses tools: requests arriving from a website, a phone line or an AI intake agent, jobs flowing into scheduling or invoicing, or AI steps that read and update items. SuperDupr builds that layer; we do not resell monday seats. A monday-centered workflow is an AI workflow automation project for us, published at $10,000 to $25,000, live in 2 to 4 weeks for most AI systems, with support at $200 to $2,000 a month depending on volume, and the system belongs to your business. The first step is a free 30-minute strategy session. To compare that with other builders, see our breakdowns of AI automation pricing and the best AI automation agencies.
Is monday.com Pro worth it?
- Count actions before seats. Multiply monthly requests by the automations and integrations each one fires. Over 250 of either means Pro.
- Count outside polling. Any tool that checks the board once a minute needs 1,440 API calls a day, which is more than Standard allows.
- Skip Basic if you automate. It lists no automations, integrations or API allowance.
- Bill yearly. monday says it saves 18% on work management and 33% on CRM.
- Watch the credit line. AI credits are discounted to $0 inside today's plans, but the page prices extra credits at about $10 per 1,000.

Every paid plan now includes a monthly allowance of AI credits: 1,000 on Basic, 2,000 on Standard and 3,000 on Pro in monday's 10-seat example. The pricing page values them at $10 per 1,000 credits and then subtracts an equal discount, so they add nothing to today's price. You can buy more credits when you need them.

monday CRM is priced separately: Basic $12, Standard $17 and Pro $28 per seat a month billed annually, or $18, $25 and $41 billed monthly, with a custom Ultimate plan. Standard includes 250 custom automations a month and Pro 25,000.

When its board fires more than about 250 automation or integration actions a month, or when outside software checks it often enough to pass 1,000 API calls a day. A tool that checks once a minute uses 1,440 calls a day on its own. At that point Pro is the next step, and a custom build makes sense when the work spans several tools beyond the board.
