Odoo Pricing 2026: Plans, the 25% Renewal Step, and the Real First-Year Cost

How much does Odoo cost? The short answer

As of November 1, 2026, Odoo costs $0 for one app with unlimited users, $24.90 per user a month on Standard and $49.00 on Custom in the first year on yearly billing. The discount lasts 12 months, then the listed prices apply: $31.10 on Standard and $61.00 on Custom. Monthly billing lists $38.90 and $76.20. A 10-person company pays $2,988 a year on Standard, then $3,732, before any setup help.

Odoo plans side by side

Prices are per user per month, except One App Free. Odoo's footnote says the discount is "valid for 12 months, for initial users ordered." So the lower price has two limits. It ends after a year, and users you add later don't get it.

That renewal step is about 25%. Budget for the listed price from the start, and treat year one as the promotion.

Is Odoo really free?

Yes, for one app. One App Free gives unlimited users on a single app on Odoo Online. That works if the one app is all you need, such as CRM on its own.

The plan stops being useful when two parts of the business need to talk, which is the reason most people look at Odoo at all. Invoicing that reads from sales needs a second app, and that means a paid plan for every user. A 10-person team goes from $0 to $249 a month on first-year Standard.

What does Odoo not include?

Odoo's page lists all apps for one fee, and that part is real. Its terms list four things that the fee does not cover:

• Implementation. Project management, data import, training and configuration are separate.
• Odoo.sh hosting. Hosting on Odoo Online is free, with storage unmetered up to 100GB. Custom code needs Odoo.sh or your own server, and Odoo.sh is billed on top.
• In-app purchase credits. SMS, contact auto-complete, lead generation and AI scanning of vendor bills and expenses all draw on paid credits.
• Maintenance of custom code. Whatever you build, you keep working.

The plan line that catches people is custom modules. Standard runs on Odoo Online, "our cloud infrastructure to host databases without custom modules." If your process needs a custom module or Odoo Studio, you need Custom, which costs about twice as much per user.

How much does Odoo implementation cost?

This is the number the pricing page doesn't show. Odoo sells Success Packs on a separate page, and it says small companies usually start there, while companies over 50 employees usually work with a partner.

Those packs work out to $125 to $145 an hour. For the sample scope its estimator showed us, Odoo said 80% of projects went live in 200 hours or less, and it put that project at about 4,500 euros. Run your own scope through the estimator before you pick a pack.

What does Odoo cost in the first year?

All rows use yearly billing and leave out Odoo.sh and in-app credits. The pattern is plain: in year one, setup costs about as much as the software on a small team. A 10-person company that sees "$24.90" should plan on $6,000 to $9,000.

Odoo also has a Light User rate listed at $8.90 a month, for staff who only log time off, expenses, attendance and similar tasks. It isn't self-serve. Odoo says you get it through a meeting with an advisor, and it comes as a custom quote. If a third of your headcount only clocks in, ask. It's the largest saving on the page.

Is Odoo worth it for a small business?

Odoo is a good buy when you would otherwise pay for three or four separate tools and spend staff time moving data between them. Compare it against the real stack: QuickBooks pricing for the books, HubSpot pricing for sales, plus whatever runs inventory or projects.

It's a weaker buy when your tools already work and only the handoffs between them are broken. Replacing the whole system to fix three handoffs is a large project for a small problem. Connecting what you have often costs less. Our automation platform pricing guide covers the cost of that route.
